Mindfulness Skill Development OnLine Class

In November 2024 cultivate mindfulness for emotional regulation, self-awareness, and personal growth with MWCA’s Mindfulness Skill Development class. The curriculum blends therapeutic frameworks and exercises so you can build skills that enhance emotional resilience and present moment awareness.

Each session covers mindfulness-based skills such as:

  • Managing stress

  • Accepting difficult emotions

  • Re-authoring personal narratives

  • Fostering self-compassion

Participants will learn practical tools for integrating mindfulness into daily life, creating balance, and reducing emotional reactivity. Whether new to mindfulness or experienced, the class offers flexibility—attend any session independently or benefit from the full 10-week series. Through guided meditations, discussions, and activities, participants will deepen emotional awareness and psychological flexibility.

Key Benefits:

  • Learn mindfulness techniques

  • Improve emotional regulation and stress management

  • Cultivate self-compassion

  • Positively re-frame your personal stories

  • Incorporate mindfulness into daily life

This class is designed for anyone looking to build mindfulness skills and enhance overall well-being. Each session stands alone, so you can join at any time and still gain valuable tools for your mental health.

We have two offerings each week for this series: Tuesdays at 7pm and Thursdays at 4pm beginning November 5th, 2024.

The class is free for current and past MWCA clients, and has a suggested $5 donation to join for non-clients. You can sign up below by sending us a email asking to sign up, and can also ask any questions you have regarding the class.
